Imagine...you can lose weight just by eating a cookie 15-45 minutes before a meal

Last week I received my first shipment of Chocolate Chip diet cookies and I was very excited. I need to lose that winter weight, I feel like a bear that has been hibernating all winter. My goal is to lose 20 pounds, the problem is that it is that "last 20" pounds that is always the hardest to lose, so I have been told. I never really had to worry about my weight or diet, until I got into my 50's.

Now I want to lose the weight to give my heart and my knees a break from carrying and supporting all of that weight. Just like everyone my age I do a have a bit of arthritis in my knees.

In my right knee, I have an additional problem, I have lost the pads (miniscus pads)  that cushion the upper leg bone from the lower leg bone. There is not much I can do about it, the Doctors told me to hold off as long as possible with getting a knee replacement. Reason, the replacement is only good for about 10 years and then has to be replaced again. Ouch. So they want me to hold off as long as possible so they only have to do one replacement, also the procedure is being improved all the time.

In order to lose this weight I am going to start off by eating one diet cookie with a glass of water before lunch and dinner. This will fill me up so that I do not over eat and it will also reduce the between meal snacks. I will keep you posted on my progress. I am sure I can lose about 15 pounds in 2 months, that's the 60 day goal, the long term goal is to lose 20 pounds.
